For the 12th time in a row, we placed ourselves in the field of best employers as awareded by Great Place to Work©. In 2021, we achieved several top positions:
- We are proud of our 2nd place as IT employer among companies of 501 to 1,000 employees.
- In the overall competition, we reach a wonderful 4th place in the category of 501 to 2,000 employees.
- Among Bavarian employers, we place ourselves 2nd in the category of 501 to 1,000 employees.
- For twelve Great Place to Work awards in a row, we are recognized with the Trust Champion Platinum.
That’s a result.
From the outside, this may seem like a matter of course after our performance in recent years. Those who are closer to us know: We do a lot for this constant success, because our culture thrives on further development.
In a dynamic industry and with constant growth in sales and employees, we have been working on cultural evolution since our founding – and have been proving our success as a Great Place to Work for more than ten years.
Next step in our development: internationalize our culture
Now a new development awaits us: internationalize the corporate culture and the feeling of “Together”. We already have two offices outside Germany, in Tunis and Valencia. We are sure more will follow, because we are setting up our offices where our colleagues want to live – in Berlin and Darmstadt, in Tunis and Valencia.
Internationalisation thought out in an entrepreneurially consistent way
Our current and future international locations are backed by dedicated talent trained at great universities. Here, we find people with experience in, for example, the cloud-native environment – skills and profiles that are in short supply in Germany. We benefit from this in a very tangible way in our customer projects. Working with tech talent from other cultural and linguistic regions makes us even more interesting as an employer for many top talents. And finally, access to international talent markets secures our competitiveness in the long term.
We notice that we can be an attractive employer in Tunis or Valencia from the great interest we met for our talks or hackathons. And by how quickly we attract people with the same passion as our colleagues in Hamburg or Munich. For us, it goes without saying that we work on an equal footing with top talent everywhere.
The results of the “Great Place to Work” benchmark survey derive from an anonymous employee survey and a culture audit. MaibornWolff has participated in the study since 2010. We have consistently achieved top rankings in the “Best ICT Employer” award, which was created in 2013.
